Your key responsibilities:
As a Medical Engagement Lead, you will provide medical expertise and lead efforts to meet stakeholder needs in your assigned therapeutic area. You will contribute to shaping strategies, and engaging with stakeholders, leveraging scientific evidence. You will also foster partnerships, collaborate with colleagues to support healthcare system and improve patient outcomes.
About the Role
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- provide key medical expertise on Novartis' pipeline programs, disease areas, and approved brands.
- working as a strategic partner and contributing to Patient Journey mapping, launch excellence roadmap, and integrated evidence generation plans.
- gather insights from various sources and share these internally to shape the strategy for your disease area.
- prepare and implement local Medical Affairs strategic plans for your assigned therapeutic area.
- identifying opportunities for value creation with scientific leaders and other partners in healthcare systems.
- analyze Real World Evidence needs and implement innovative methodologies to close the gap ensuring patient and clinical adoption.
- raise awareness of Novartis' work through publication of manuscripts, scientific presentations, and representation in scientific programs and congresses.
- act in line with Novartis Values and Behaviors.
Minimum requirements:
• Pharmacist, Masters, or other post-graduate degree in health/life sciences. Doctoral degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD)
• Fluent in English & Croatian
• Working knowledge of the Healthcare System and research procedures as well as the guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
• Capable of self-directed learning and having a growth mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively and collaboratively on multi-functional teams in a dynamic field-based environment
