• End-to-end accountable for all of Data, Digital and IT services and offerings to P&O, Legal & Compliance, Corporate Affairs and Internal Audit
• Technology advisory and consulting based on business needs and technology trends to drive technology enabled business strategy and transformation. Develop and maintain multi-year business technology roadmaps and support business technology innovation and disruption including AI
• Partner with senior business stakeholders to manage ongoing program and project portfolio demands and jointly prioritize funding. Ensure business-specific technology architecture and solution design is developed in accordance with Enterprise Architecture standards
• Deliver programs and projects with excellence to be delivered in time, quality and costs. Ensure user experience adoption across organizational level for overall solution delivery.
• Run efficient service operation for technology products and solutions dedicated to business functions
• Establish appropriate governance with business and DD&IT functions for timely decision making, removing hurdles and escalation handling
• Closely collaborate with other DD&IT functions for shared enterprise technology services
• Represent DD& IT organization in peer groups and industry forums to drive thought leadership and follow industry trends to address new Novartis business needs
• Manage, coaches and oversees internal and external resources geographically distributed in line with their targets, roles and responsibilities and the Novartis values & behaviors
• Ensure compliance of all designed solutions to all relevant internal/external  requirements in close collaboration with DD&IT Security and Compliance policies and procedures

What you’ll bring to the role:

• University degree or equivalent.  Master’s degree desirable. Working experience within the pharmaceutical industry is a plus       
• 10+ years’ experience delivery / program management skillset, experience in leading cross functional teams and managing relationships with business customers and users
• 10+ years of management experience in managing a team of digital or technology professionals
• Proven leadership, communication, and management skills in a global matrix organization
• In-depth knowledge and experience in HR, Legal, Ethics Risk & Compliance and/or Corporate Affairs technologies and business processes is desirable
