We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support the Novartis TechOps FP&A department in key processes and projects, including results consolidation, analysis, reconciliation, and stakeholder management. This role offers hands-on finance experience in a dynamic, multinational environment. The analyst will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders across different levels, providing high exposure and networking opportunities within Novartis.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide financial and administrative support, offering insightful and value-added analysis to the management team
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Support the TechOps finance team in monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse financial data
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial processes and systems, including digital projects for automation and simplification
- Provide accurate and relevant business analysis to support decision-making
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management
- Ensure milestones are achieved in line with official financial planning timelines
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential for the role:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Proficiency in basic accounting practices is necessary
- Early career professional or recent graduate
- Proficiency in English is required
- Independent, self-driven, and curious
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to dive deep into processes and systems while remaining solution-oriented
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior leaders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software
Desirable for the role:
- Work experience/ internships, preferably in Pharma, FMCG, audit, or with exposure to manufacturing, is a plus
- Strong digital skills, including experience with data cleansing, normalisation, and data visualisation
- Analytical thinking and financial modelling
- Project management skills to plan, organise, and execute according to agreed milestones
